There was just one problem. I'll share the story with you.....
To finish them off neatly (and quickly), I decided to get a snap-fastener kit. It came with a flimsy little plastic 'machine' that you have to wallop with a hammer to fix the little metal bits in place.....
Having smacked my thumb with the hammer on my first try, I called Simon to help.....
He gave the thing a huge man-sized wallop with the hammer.....
And now there's an enormous hole in my crafting desk!!!
I've been making sure the hole's always covered up with a book, or a pile of fabrics, or a jar of buttons. When I'm freed from this bedrest business, I think one of my first projects will have to be finding a creative way of permanently covering the desk and its hole!!!
Until next time.....

I'm sorry but I've had a giggle at your expense. Never ask a man to do something that is clearly designed for women to do....however, I love your dribble bibs. Maybe something I should make for our new grandchild in waiting, x
ReplyDeleteOops! Nice bibs though :)
ReplyDeleteI use Kam snaps. Easy to use and no whacking involved. Lovely bibs. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, your man is too strong!! Your bibs are so cute!
