Hello, my fabulous friends! I have been enjoying reading your Easter-themed posts SO much! I’ve loved seeing your super bunny and chick makes, and all your yummy-looking Easter baking!
I’m afraid I don’t have any Easter makes to show you in return. While we were at my folks’ in the UK, I finished knitting myself a cowl (photos to come), and tried AGAIN to crochet (no photos in the pipeline yet). And that was all the holiday crafting I did because, a few days before we left, I started getting a funny rattling noise in my chest and didn’t feel 100%. So, I went to see the doctor as soon as we got back to Germany. And I have pneumonia! Luckily, I don’t need to be admitted to the hospital. But the doctor has told me I HAVE to rest – as in DO NOTHING!!! I don’t really know how to do ‘doing nothing’ – I’m normally doing at least 10 things at the same time! But, I’m TRYING to be good. I think the ONLY upside of being told to rest is that I have plenty of time to catch up on reading crafty blogs and listening to crafty podcasts.
I got these cuties from a fantastic shop called Hema. It sells the cutest, most colourful housey things ever! Do you have Hema in your part of the world?
I went shopping for these (and did the branch-decorating) BEFORE I got sick. I’m just writing that in case my mom’s reading and I get into trouble! ;-)
Wishing you all a very happy (and chocolate-filled) Easter!!!
Looking forward to having a bit of extra time to 'hang out' over at your blogs.....

Hello,
ReplyDeleteYour decorations are so beautiful. I wish we had a Hema.
DO take it very easy. Look after your self chick, even if you do want to do things. Your lovely man will have to slave after you.
My friend once had pneumonia and as walking around as normal. I was quite surprised,as I always thought it made you bedridden.
Take care and I hope you feel better soon. Sending hugs. xxx
Happy Easter to you, and I hope you feel better soon!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Hema, but if everything there is as cute as your Easter decorations, I want one here in the states!! Your Easter branches look great; next year I want to have an Easter tree!
Hope you don't run out of craft podcasts and hope you enjoy your mandatory resting!
Hello sweet Carly! I am so sorry to hear you have pneumonia!!! Yes, please rest and take good care of yourself! I know how you feel, it is hard when you are used to doing 10 things at once, but if you rest you will be right back at it before you know it! I love your Easter tree, the branches are so pretty and you did a beautiful job decorating it! I found my pink tree at Hobby Lobby years ago. It is a bit faded, but I still enjoy using it. Thank you for visiting me and for your sweet comment! You are a dear! I love all of your sweet Easter finds! We don't have a Hema here. I look forward to seeing your cowl! Have a beautiful, RESTFUL :) and Happy Easter! Love, Paula xo... remember to rest and take care! I am glad your mom is checking on you! :)

oh dear sorry to hear you're poorly :( take good care of yourself and rest up.
ReplyDeleteLove your easter tree, we have something similar here but it's only got 6 eggs on it, bit of a poor attempt this year. Hema seems like a great shop, none here but they have very wacky webpage just now (although you can't order anything from it, give it a couple of seconds to load and see what happens :)
