I also made my mom some pressies. Before the summer holidays, I made myself a passport and travel document wallet (you can see it here), and my mom really liked it. So I decided to make her one for her birthday.
She likes blue, and she likes stripes. So here's what I came up with.....
You can find the passport wallet tutorial I used here, and my super-easy rosette pin tutorial here.
Now I guess I'd better set my mind to 'Christmas Crafting' mode! Have you started yours yet????

What a lovely gift! It is so perfectly made, great job!
ReplyDeleteOoooH! Christmas groan!!! Have I really got to think about Christmas prep!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis passport wallet is gorgeous and a wonderful practical combination of colours. Why practical well I am sure your mother will find her passport straight away. I always buy purses ect in bright colours because I always use big bags and I have to hunt to find my purse.
Are you going to sell these??? with matching brooch of course LOL!
keep well
Amanda :-)

Lovely gift, I'm so pleased your mum has a brooch to match her passport wallet - it makes all the difference to ones journey!!! Love the combination of fabrics, especially inside the wallet. Making lots of Christmas makes but sadly, not for me XX
ReplyDeleteLovely gift. It is so nice to receive something homemade :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and professional! Nice work, Carly!
ReplyDeletePretty!
ReplyDeleteMy sister reminded me yesterday that it's only 9 weeks until Christmas ... I think I may just hibernate until it's all over!
So pretty!! I've started a little on my Christmas gifts, but first I have to get some wedding gifts out of the way!! Good luck on your Christmas crafting!
